changes to a registered domain name.
Once a domain name is registered it is registered!
It is very important that you check the exact
spelling of your domain name. If you wish to remove
or add a letter in a domain name that has already been
registered then a new registration fee applies. The
difference of a single character in a domain name makes
it a completely new address. Think of store.com , and
eStore.com. |
Cancelling
a domain name.
Cancellation of a domain name attracts a cancellation
fee of $99. The reason being is that we have already
registered and paid for the domain name. We recommend
that you simply let your domain name lapse, in this
situation. |

cases. There will be a $99 processing fee. Simply
email
us with your requirements and we will send out
the appropriate forms.

that the time frame for changes varies depending on
the type of doamin name.
In
the case of transferring a domain name to another
party, the new party will have to pay full re-registration
fees. |
What
can I do with my domain name?
-
A domain name will allow you to do several things
including:
Placing a web site under your new domain name.
- Having
a professional sounding email address, which remains
with you irrespective of which ISP you end up moving
to in the future. You can have business emails such
as information@domainame.com.au or a personal email
suh as susan@domainname.com.au.
- Web
pointing: This is where you may have more than one
domain name and you want them pointing to the one
site. A good example of this is when you type in
www.recipes.com, you are transferrred (pointed)
to the www.cooking.com web site. An effective marketing
tool, or excellent for protecting variations of
your business name.
